definitely a must!
Pros: Smoking allowed on covered deck, fun staff, warm atmosphere
"Great atmosphere - very relaxed. Excellent menu - good and reasonable. Always has entertainment. The rooms are beautiful, cozy and private. The best place in the Poconos and a must-see when you're there!"

world class, historic
Pros: music, food, ambiance... it's got it all.
Cons: traffic on 611
"60 years of jazz - it may be a world record.
new owners have cleaned it up beautifully while maintaining the classic charm and vibe.
If you are a local and haven't been to the Deer Head, you are not really a local. If you are visiting - it's a must stop. However, please know that it is real world class jazz for the most part, and lots of talking during the music is frowned upon."

Incredible Music
Pros: Music, service, and food
Cons: Ends a little early
"Can't believe such a gem exists in the Poconos. If this place were in NYC it would be world famous."
