We love it
Pros: Food, Fun, Great Staff, Great drink selection
Cons: Sushi is only after I think 5pm

Good food, Bad Service
Pros: Good food
Cons: Bad Service, Charges cover fee even if you've already been there for 2 hours and spent money
"Great food, a nice alternative to the many chain restaurants in the area. It's a good thing that the food is good because the service is awful. The servers and bartenders lack any professionalism and will flat out ignore you if it is busy. Also, be forewarned that if you get there in the early evening on a weekend that a band is playing, they will still charge you the cover fee regardless of how much you have already spent on dinner, or that you were there long before the cover fee starts."

Good vibe
Pros: atmosphere
Cons: cover charge too early
"I recently visited Sarah Street upon recomendation from our hotel on Main Street. They have the best sushi/dinners and great music videos. i had a Sangria Martini too, and it was awesome. hard to believe this place exists in this little town."

best spot in the poconos
"i recently visited sarah street grill after being on the road for several hours. i was tired and hungry. i experienced the kindest greeting at the door, the nicest server ever, and what a great menu!! the manager even stoped by my table to ask how everything was. i left there relaxed, a full belly, and not one complaint. i travel all over the US, and i will surely be back next time im in the poconos!!"

A lot to be desired
Pros: can't think of any
Cons: food quality and service.
"Worst service I have evr experienced. Waiters were to busy talking to their friends. Waited over 30 minutes for anyone to come to our table. Then they got it wrong. The food was cold and dried out. "

Always good
Pros: champagne on the wine menu
Cons: could use more vegetarian selections but then there is sushi...
"The bad reviews are mind boggling. We go to Sarah St. about once a week and we love it! Prices are comparable if not a little lower than other area restaurants, food is great, service friendly, quick and professional. "

Great and always getting better
Pros: Variety for everyone
Cons: pool table is 2 bucks!
"I have been going to Sarah St for many years and have found that it is very good and always getting better. Even service that was sub par by a new employee dramamticly improved by that same servor the next time I was in. Always adding to the already cool atmoshpere and turning me on to music I did not now about and reminding me of great music i have forgotten about! Very unique place: who else mixes sports, live music, steaks, and sushi?"

Not worth it!!
"Sarah St has a pretty cool atmosphere and is nice to go and watch the games (if you like ppl sitting on your lap and in your way the whole time)- but the food has never been up-to-par in the few times I've been there. The staff has no urgency to get to tables, and are in no way trying to earn their tips by being friendly. Best bet is looking elsewhere!"

Just about the best all around place...
Cons: None come to mind, but the beer could always be cheaper...
"to eat and drink in the area. Menu is more varied than most places around here and everything my family, friends or I tried had been well-prepared."

A really enjoyable dinner!
Pros: Beer was cold, food was great.
Cons: Entrees came too soon after the apps, but other than that, nothing.
"We tried a little of everything. Sushi, wings, a sandwich and an entree. Everything was excellent. We will be back. "

Good Food - Good Atmosphere
Pros: Atmosphere and food
"Eclectic atmosphere and good food. Good variety and very good sushi."
Editorial Review:
The Sarah Street Grill is a great place for a romantic date or just to meet with some friends after work for a drink. The restaurant offers multiple dining rooms, a bar, game room and a stage for live music. Although customers do not need to dress up to dine here, the atmosphere in the dining room is classy. After dinner, customers can go downstairs to the bar area to relax and enjoy the band or shoot some pool in the game room near the stage. People come here to have a fun night out and a nice meal, a goal which is often easily met.
