Service was bad when it wasnt buzy
Pros: Decent burger
Cons: Bad service
"Waited 15mins till we went to the bar and got our own drinks then had to ask a waitress if someone was going to take our order after watching several tables in another section geting served drinks when they sat after us, and it wasn't that busy. The burgers were good but the chicken wraps were mostly lettuce and barley any chicken in it. The waitress only came back to deliver our food and check. Had to go back to the bar to get refills after wating at the table. Not very good service "

not worth going
Pros: appearance and friendly staff
Cons: taste of food and outrageous cost
"The burgers tasted like the ones I got at a concession stand, previously frozen. They tasted exactly the same. For the price, I'd expect a very fresh made burger."

Very nice staff & good food
Pros: Polite and friendly staff
"I was there Friday for lunch ... The restaurant is cute. It looks like a log cabin inside.. I was greeted nicely at the door and the waitress was very nice and knew the menu very well . The food is a bit pricy but the servers will go out their way to please the customers ( I noticed they did it for every table not just mine )"

Great food and a fun atmosphere
Pros: Portions and decor

"It's a little pricey but I guess most places with a captured audience is. Very cool decor and the portions are huge. Highly recommend. "

Terrible!
"Overpriced especially when you consider the low quality food. I can make a better meal in my microwave! The service is also slow and don't expect your order to be correct! I work in the mall near log cabin and i go out of my way to drive out of the mall and get food rather than waste my money there. "

Over-priced and unimpressive
Pros: I guess unique decor?
Cons: Poor quality and over-priced food
"I usually enjoy restaurants with "rustic" themes - this one was an exception.

As the restaurant name suggests, the interior decor is that of a log cabin - kind of neat and unusual. The food is bland and extremely over-priced. I ordered a soup/salad combo, which cost $10 and change. The "salad" was a small handful of iceberg lettuce with a few diced tomatoes and cucumbers thrown in. The soup was served luke-warm in a small, 2/3 full cup. Considering the quality and quantity, this dish would probably be priced at $5 max at other, more reasonably-priced restaurants.

They also charge for water- I'm not sure how much, but sodas are a steep $3.

Use the Food Court
Pros: None
"Way over priced. I had a black bean veggie burger ($11.00) that was mostly bun, which I did not eat, as it was dry. I asked for water as a beverage, and was told that I could have only bottled water. Use the food court instead of this restaurant."

over charging
"Over priced and we were over charged for things. If we did not look at the charges they would have gotten away with $30 overcharge. Can not find anything nice to say about a Business who would do that and not try to make the customer happy. I work in the Customer service field and my company would have given a discount"

Pros: the whole place
Cons: The rude NY/NJ crowd
"I was in today for lunch and i enjoyed a very good meal... The table next to me had a party of 9 people and they were jerks to the server and and had her run every where... thewn at the end they wanted to use a 2 or 3 gift cards.. the server explained to them they can only use one per table..well they did not want to here they.. they where soo rude and wanted a MGR. well they both handled that so well even as the MGR was trying to explain one ladie kept yelling and spiuting food all over (she was nasty).. i would have kicked them out. But the server and MGR did well.....i would give them a raise..on was blond and the MGR was male with dark hair. I left a bettre tip for the server i felt bad. This ain't Europe, kids.
"So why are you charging me for water? Our waitress was very attentive, but tried to up-sell us on *everything* which gets old fast. (Especially when you're still annoyed about having to pay for water.) The food is glorified diner fare with a much higher price tag. (My chicken and cheddar melt consisted of chicken tenders covered in half-melted cheese. Classy.) We paid $25 for a house salad, a soup/salad/sandwich combo, an iced tea, and my stupid water. Next time I'll hold out for the food court. This place isn't worth it."

A night of fun and singing.
Pros: The friendly family atmostphere
Cons: If I can think of even one, I'll let you know
"Congratulations to the manager and staff of The Log Cabin. What a catch. We took the bate of the menu board. We had been out here once before and to say the least, we were disappointed. What a change. The manager and the staff were great. We were promptly seated and served. Our meal was an improvement. We changed our seating more towards the center in an effort to see the karaoke. A man walked up to us with a pleasant smile, a great greeting, and a song book. He asked if we needed anything. We thought he was another server. It was the karaoke host. A pleasant well spoken older gentleman. We told him that neither of us sings. He said to have a few more drinks, close our eyes, and let the music move our souls. Later he returned and asked if either my wife or I would like a special song to be sung by his wife, who by the way has a very lovely voice. How nice. We noticed that the Bar has turned family orientated. The little girl was great. In General, everything about Saturday night was fantastic. Great company, Great management, Great staff, Great food, and lot?s of fun. If this is going to be The Log Cabins Saturday night type of atmosphere, you have captured new guest. We will bring friends. And please, keep the music going. Great Host. The Log Cabin earnd 5 stars from us."

Terrible time and no excuse for it!
Pros: food was ok
Cons: customer service is not their forte .
"My husband and I were there on 3/5/11. There was less than 8 people total in the place. As we walked in we saw a sign that said "wait to be seated". We waited almost 10 minutes until I finally went to the bartender and asked if I could seat myself(the manager had been a few feet away and was too busy socializing to offer assistance). My husband ordered Sam Adams beer (which was on the menu)and they didn't have any (on a Saturday night at 8pm!) After ordering a second beer my husband never got that. I ordered sweet potato fries with my meal and got regular fries. We were forced to listen to 30 minutes of Jonas Bros songs as the manager allowed 2 kids to play 7 songs in a row on the jukebox. We made a suggestion to offer a sampler plate with bison, venison and elk since people might not know what it tastes like. The waitress let the cook know and the cook offered to make me venison to taste since I never tried it. She later came back and said the cook couldn't find it to make (what if I had ordered the venison?). The meal came out to almost $70 for a raspberry iced tea, a beer,a cup of soup, a side salad, an elk burger and a bison burger. The price seemed way too high considering the terrible customer service. Although we like to support local businesses I don't plan on going there again. "

Cons: Stools with a back would be nice to relax after walking around shopping all day!
"My son and I were shopping over the President's Day weekend (2/20/11) and were going to grab something to eat in the food court. We decided to wait a bit and ended up finding the Log Cabin. We went in and there was a short wait for a table but immediate seating at the bar. We sat at the bar, greeted immediately, served our beverages within minutes, ordered our burgers, and had them come out perfectly done within 15 minutes. Having been shopping at The Crossings for years, this is exactly what the area needed! "

Lmao
Pros: Good service, decent prices, liquor
Cons: Terrible food
"Let me first say the Log Cabin Bar & Grill is appealing-at first! I live in NY and drive to the Crossings Outlets a couple times a year.

Last time I went to the Crossings was late last summer. I noticed this new restaurant, 'The Log Cabin Bar & Grill.' I thought it would be great to take a break from shopping and have a nice sit-down lunch with my family. The service was OK, but my big complaint at the time was how dirty everything seemed! Plus I was wondering how they called themselves a "bar & grill" when I couldn't even get a beer.

Since then I heard that they acquired a liquor license, and decided to give it another try on my next visit to the Crossings. When I went in, the inside of the restaurant seemed a lot nicer! The decor and entire interior was a lot cleaner. The waitress was exceptional. However, I was extremely disappointed with the food. My quesadilla was warm and plain-looking. Then my chicken-melt sandwich arrived and when I bit into it, the chicken was soft and almost raw! I was disgusted, but my kids food was a little better, so we stayed to finish the meal. The waitress was somewhat eager to push deserts and extra stuff that I don't usually buy when I go out to eat, so that was a turn-off.

Overall, I think the Log Cabin has improved significantly. But just because the dining room is clean, it doesn't stop me from wondering what the place looks like behind those kitchen doors! "

Pros: Great food and decor
Cons: untalented staff that had to be let go

the WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN AT!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: ABSOLUTLY NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING (when I say EVERYTHING I really mean it)
"I have been an executive chef for 27 years, and believe me when I say I know the food industry. My wife and I were out shopping and noticed this place, the decor looked great as we peered into the store when we walked in we stood there for about 10 min for someone to acknowledge our presence and the place was completely empty except for the staff that was sitting at the bar watching TV!! When we finally got sat we looked at the visually painful menu with a poor layout, very plain and boring with bad food descriptions(which looked like someone with no talent/experience made at home)and noticed the ridiculously over priced food items, which wasn't hard to notice because the prices were in bold!! So I asked for a glass of ice water they told me i had to buy bottled water because the owner is stingy! I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger while my wife had a chicken Caesar salad. For starters the plate was dirty and chipped, the burger was dry and over cooked like it was cooked hours ago and reheated, the mushrooms were way too over cooked the chips were stale and bland and my wife's salad had wilted and bruised green leaf instead of romaine which is what a Caesar salad is supposed to be served with, it was drowning in Caesar dressing and had an outrageous amount of Parmesan cheese on it and no croutons with some of the driest chicken I have ever eaten, all served in a dirty chipped bowl. The server was very unattentive and had an "I don't care attitude". We weren't asked if we wanted desserts, didn't try to up sell me on sides or apps, took forever to get our check. Overall consensus is that a nice dinning room doesn't make up for bad food and service at a high price! THIS PLACE IS A TOURIST TRAP BEWARE THEY DON'T WANT REPEAT CUSTOMERS THEY JUST WANT AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY CAN GET FROM YOU!!! I WOULD RATHER EAT OUT OF A GARBAGE CAN AT LEAST YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!! "

Pros: Great food and awesome decor
Cons: No shrimp cocktail
"My wife works in the outlets so I have actually been in there a couple times. Its kind of funny but the last 3 times it has been a steady progression of better and better. I met my wife there yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised to see they have their full bar up and running, place looked excellent and it was nice to find a place with Stella Artois on tap. The place was full and I had to wait at the bar for a table, the food came out in 15 mins! I had a salmon dinner which was presented on the plate like I was in some fancy Manhattan restaurant. Everything tasted spectacular. I was so impressed with the upward changes over the last 3 visits that I had to say something to Kevin the manager. He explained that they have had some problems with it being a newer restaurant and the owner who had not been an absentee owner has now been there everyday for the past 8 weeks giving it his full attention. I personally have seen and commend these changes. Kevin told me they served over 400 people that day and no food was over a 15 minute wait time with not one complaint. I strongly urge everyone to try this place a second time, they finally got it right. The place has always looked awesome, now the food and service match. Hats off to the staff.

NEVER GOT MY FOOD
Pros: none
Cons: everything
"We were shopping allm day at the outlets and were starving. We stopped in the Log Cabin and the first thing we noticed was all the smoke. They left the door open because I guess the vents werent working. We ordered our food and after 45 min of waiting my husband had to locate our waitress so I could have my water refilled andm I asked her why the wait was so long. She said they were backed up in the kitche. I told my husband if oor order wasnt out in ten minutes we were leaving. So long story short after 55n minutes of waiting in a not crowded restaraunt for a cheese steak, we left. A decent business would have sent over bread sticks or something along with an apology. This place, nothing. I would strongly suggest to keep walking if you ever intend to stop there."

Terrible Place!
Pros: Food is Alright
Cons: Everything Else
"I was here the Sunday before school began this year. The whole family was starving after walking all over The Crossings, so we took a break here to eat. Well, I wish we had kept walking. At first everything seemed great, we were seated quickly, and had drinks within 2 minutes. Then it took at least 25 minutes for our food to come out. The food was pretty good, but not for the wait with children. Then we get our check $98.49! I have a family of 5 who ate burgers! I waited another 15 minutes to get the waitress and show her the miscalculated bill. She fixed it within another 15 minutes, to be $52.82! I handed her the check and $60, she never came back to give me change! I asked the other waitress where ours had gone, and told her we never got our change, she said I don't know & walked away! Seriously, I was going to let her keep it but to just assume is not nice. I will never never frequent this establishment again, and I will be sure to let everyone I know about my experience! Thanks for making all of our Black Friday Shopping Days that are coming much cheaper, I'll get a pretzel!"

Cons: Too many .. see description
"We went there on Saturday Memorial Day weekend with a 1 year old and a 10 month old. First of all, they had no high cahirs - only 2 of them that were being used. I understand the wait but every restaurant I have gone to has always brought out the childs meal with the appetizer. That did not happen. I wanted water for the baby but i wasn't paying $3 for a bottle of water. The chicken wings were raw on the outside and other food was cold that should have been hot. Then the bill comes out, and they charged the tip on the bill - because we had 6 guests - absolutely insane - no restaurant charges for the baby. on top of that the little one never got her ice cream - I'm sure that would have been horrible as well .. will never go there again."

Looked like a nice addition to the outles, but....
Cons: Too many to list here.
"We've been there twice now. The day it opened, and then again last week. The first time we thought was pricey, but that was dinner, so we gave it another chance. Food okay. Service pretty good. We went there for lunch on a very slow weekday. There were 3-4 other patrons eating lunch. First, they would not give us water. Had to buy bottled. Second, we wanted to share something and they wanted to charge us $2 additional to share burger. Burgers do not come with fries, and are about $9 by themselves. We had already ordered a soda and said we were leaving because of the issues mentioned. The bill for one soda was $3.00! Will never go there again. Waitress was very nice and understanding. Seemed like she was used to this sort of reaction. I can sort of understand operating like this if they were a high-end, or extremely popular place, like a Carnegie Deli, but it was dead and to my knowledge this is unique place and not a well-known franchise, entity or anything else. Not a good way to get established. They must think they have you captive, since there are few other options for food at the outlets. Tried to find a website to leave feedback, but they do not have one to my knowledge. "

Cold Food
Pros: The waiter "Storm" was very pleasant and helpful and well mannered
Cons: Everything else you can think of
"After about a 30 minute wait for my cold food that was supposed to be hot I was pretty hungry so I ate it and was very disappointed. The veggies were not cooked enough and they were rubbery. The plates are horrible and your food slides as your trying to cut anything. The soda was watered down, the "free" "ONE" glass of wine was watered down also. There are no prices for the beverages. It cost $5.99 for one small glass of wine!! The watered down soda was 2.99 (free refills). They offer no free water to start out with.I had a coupon for the buy one get one free, and it ended up to be $40.00 and that was buying an entree for 15.99 !!! The atmosphere is very stale and boring. "
