"My husband and I ordered the cake for our wedding day which was this past Saturday. We went with a fall themed wedding and wanted fall leaves on our cake. We had about 175 people attending. Most of my family love chocolate so two of the tiers were chocolate cake with chocolate mousse. Oh my god..to die for. When I arrived at the reception I saw the cake and it was everything I hoped for. It was so beautiful I didn't want to cut it lol. The taste was amazing and everyone loved it. I would highly recomend this husband and wife team. They were great and very curtious too. "

"We met with the baker for a tasting, everything seemed fine and we were happy with our choice. The day of the wedding, however, was a different story. While the cake design and flavors were just what we ordered, it was not the agreed upon size for which we had paid. We ordered a cake for 150 people and had only about 100 guests attend and still ran out of cake. My mother-in-law was picking at the crumbs since she didn't even get a piece! Furthermore, we requested the top tier for our anniversary (something discussed two times before the wedding, in person and over the phone). The baker told our wedding coordinator that we didn't request the top tier and that there was no way to separate the top layer and she did not provide a box to take it home anyway. When I expressed my concerns after the wedding, the baker said "Wedding cake slices are and will always be 1in by 2in. If your wedding planner didn't slice the [cake] properly it's not my fault." She did not even address the fact that we didn't get the top tier. Also, the wedding coordinator has cut her share of wedding cakes and has never had a problem before, so I do not believe that was her fault. I'm disappointed with the value and service we received after we paid so much and I would NOT recommend this bakery to others. "

"I just had a baby shower this past weekend and we ordered the cake through Patty Cake. I wanted a crib with a baby in it for the top of the cake. I wasn't sure if it was possible because I wanted it to be edible. They assured me that they can do it. When the cake was delivered my mother and I were so surprised to the crib! It was so detailed and beautiful. I am going to use them again for my babys first birthday for sure"

"I ordered a cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. I wanted a princess themed cake with a crown ontop that you can eat. The cake was amazing and my whole family loved it. They were so nice and patient with me when I was ordering it. ( I didn't know what flavor to get ). They suggested some flavors and designs and I went with chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream filling. The cake was sooo good. I am for sure going to use Patty Cakes for all my celebrations! "What a wonderful surprise I had in Stroudsburg today.
On S. 6th Street, there sits a little bakery, that I never new existed. Thank goodness to the town for allowing the owners of this lovely little shop to put a sign board on the sidewalk on Main, or I may have missed it entirely.
When you walk in the bakery the aroma of pastries and bread bring back the days of the corner shops of our youth.
Lovely selection, beautiful breads, and you can get a cup of coffee to go.
Prices were very fair, and as I eat through my sampling I purchased ...I am one very happy customer. My main beef, is why there has been no mention of this new business in the Pocono Record."
